Show Your Independent Spirit with Cacties

by Mister Cacties

June 20th, 2008

Independence Day is one of the most celebrated holidays in U.S
history, and for good reason - it is the only holiday that celebrates
the United States. A cowboy is hard working and proud, just like his
country, and stands for the three things that make up the red, white
and blue of the American flag. George Washington proclaimed:

“We take the stars from Heaven, the red from our mother
country, separating it by white stripes, thus showing that we have
separated from her, and the white stripes shall go down to posterity
representing Liberty.”

If you’re confined to the office during the month of July, why not
celebrate your own independent spirit by showing up dressed in Cacties western wear.

Celebrate the red, white and blue in the month of July by wearing:

5 Ways to Help Your Country by Spending Your Stimulus Check

by Mister Cacties

June 3rd, 2008

The government is currently in the process of sending out stimulus
payments to those that qualify. In total, there will be $100 billion
sent out. Many of us already have plans to pay down some debt, save for
the future or put into the weekly budget. Those are admirable
intentions and recommended for almost any economic windfall. However
would doing that help the economy? Or would your money be better off
spent on American-made goods?

Made in the U.S.A
The rebates people are receiving will
help the economy the most if you spend them on American-made goods. The
stimulus payment was intended to be a shot in the arm to the American
economy, putting the money toward paying off debt or saving for the
future is perhaps not utilizing the payment to its fullest extent.
That’s a great thing about this country, we have a choice. Below are
some suggestions on how to best utilize your stimulus check:

  • If you’re wanting to put some money toward your savings or pay off
a debt, consider splitting your check up into two. Put half toward your
debt and the other half toward more luxury items.
  • Shopping online is an experience many of us are used to. Many stores online have ‘Made in America’ assurances - MadeInUSA.org, MadeInUSA.com and StillMadeInUSA.com.
  • Donate part or all of your check to charitable organizations supporting our troops and their families.
  • Spending your check on something that improves your life can mean more than groceries, western style clothing
or bicycles. There are American made appliances, carpet, windows or
other home improvement items. All of which will help out the American
    economy.
  • Put the money toward a vacation. Spending time with your family on
a vacation can be some of the most memorable moments of your life.

Western Wear is Making a Comeback. Take Our Survey and Speak Your Mind!

by Mister Cacties

May 13th, 2008

We’re inclined to agree with sources in the media that there is a certain resurgence of cowboys and all things Wild West. However, we’d like to know your thoughts before we go and saddle up and ride over yonder. We’ve created a survey that we’d really appreciate if you took a moment to answer. It’s very brief at only nine questions and should take no more than five minutes of your time.

As a small incentive to participate in our cowboy survey, you’ll be entered into a drawing to win a MyCacties tie.

For us, the lifestyle of the cowboy and the Old West is a way of living that is unique and should be treasured as a national heritage. Whether you’re at home out on the ranch or comfortable in a more urban environment, we’re confident that our western apparel will represent your inner cowboy no matter where you are.
